Glenn Orloff didn't set out to build a transportation company. He was in Washington, D.C., helping a friend work through a logistics business plan, when he noticed something that should have been obvious but wasn't: the group ground transportation industry had no established national providers. No single company could reliably move people across multiple markets, under one contract, with consistent service. That gap turned out to be the business.
He incorporated Metropolitan Shuttle in April 2001. The timing was not ideal. September 11 hit five months later. Later came the 2008 financial crisis, and later still COVID-19, an event that all but halted the group passenger transportation industry. Metropolitan Shuttle survived all three. That's not a boast, but rather a simple data point about how the company is run.
Before any of this, Glenn spent twelve years as a financial executive, including postings in Tokyo and Moscow. That background – analytical, internationally tested, oriented toward structure and accountability – became the operating DNA of the company. In 2007, Metropolitan Shuttle earned a GSA contract with the federal government and went on to become one of the largest providers of group ground transportation services to federal agencies in the country.

Bikram Ghosh is a strategic leader with executive-level experience leading operations, corporate strategy, business development, practice management, and project delivery across Latin America, South and Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and the Pacific. He has managed large portfolios and complex programs exceeding $500 million, including in complex environments, and across multiple industries including consulting, healthcare, finance, public sector, and transportations.
He specializes in leading large-scale operations across multiple geographies, having supervised global teams of 300+ staff and directed cross-regional workstreams across HR, procurement, finance, administrative, and multiple corporate functions. As a senior leader Bikram combines strategic and executive leadership with hands-on operations management, driving strategic growth, risk mitigation, and client engagement. He has developed and executed market-informed growth strategies that generated over $250 million in new business, rebuilt underperforming contracts to restore client confidence, and built enduring partnerships with large clients.
