Sprinter Van Rental in Seattle with Driver: What Two 2026 Trips Cost
A Sprinter van is what you book when the job is not a trip but a loop. The two we ran in Seattle this year prove it. On a Friday in April a Mercedes Sprinter cycled between the Graduate Hotel in the University District and the UW School of Law from 7 to 9 in the morning and again from 5 to 7 in the evening, for $1,100. On a Saturday in September another Sprinter ran wedding guests from the Hampton Inn & Suites in Woodinville to The Rustic Fern in Duvall and back, continuously, from 1:30 in the afternoon until 9:30 at night, for $1,350. Neither group needed a bus. Both needed a vehicle and a driver committed to them for the day.
Metropolitan Shuttle is a transportation management company that has arranged Seattle charter bus rental since 2001. We do not own the vans. We vet the operators who do, confirm insurance and safety records before booking, and assign one coordinator who owns your trip start to finish.
Two recent Seattle Sprinter van trips and what they cost
| Trip | When | Passengers | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cycling shuttle, Graduate Hotel, 4507 Brooklyn Ave NE, to UW School of Law, 4293 Memorial Way NE; 7 to 9 AM from the hotel, 5 to 7 PM from the law school | Friday, April 17, 2026 | University of Washington School of Law event guests | $1,100 |
| Cycling shuttle, Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle/Woodinville to The Rustic Fern, NE 197th St, Duvall, and back; guests out for the ceremony, returns through the reception, 1:30 to 9:30 PM | Saturday, September 19, 2026 | Wedding guests | $1,350 |
Prices are per van, driver included.
The $1,100 split-shift university day. Two two-hour windows, eight hours apart, is the hardest shape to price by the hour and the easiest to price as a day: the van and the driver are yours from the first morning run to the last evening one, whatever the gap. UW Law’s guests walked out of the Graduate Hotel to a van that left every few minutes for a six-block ride and came back to the same arrangement at 5. The alternative, 14 people finding their own way twice, is what the $1,100 bought out.
The $1,350 wedding evening. Woodinville hotels to a Duvall farm venue is a 20-minute drive each way on two-lane roads with no rideshare supply at 10 PM. The Sprinter ran it on a loop for eight hours, taking guests out in the afternoon and bringing them back in waves through the reception. About $169 an hour, the top of the published van band for a September Saturday, and cheaper than the 30-passenger minibus that worked a Lake Union wedding a week later because the vehicle is smaller and the night ended at 9:30 rather than 2 AM.
How much does a Sprinter van rental cost in Seattle?
Published 2026 rates for a 12-to-14-passenger van with driver in Seattle are $120 to $155 per hour on a five-hour minimum and $1,050 to $1,700 for a full day. The two trips above landed at $1,100 and $1,350. Both were effectively day rates: a split shift and an eight-hour loop are both “the van is yours today.” For a single transfer, a Sprinter prices at the five-hour minimum or as a flat one-way; for anything that cycles, ask for the day.
The Seattle charter bus rental hub has the full rate table by bus type.
What a Seattle Sprinter van carries

- Climate control, USB power, Bluetooth audio; executive interiors with leather and tables on request
- A rear cargo area for overnight bags, not a suitcase per seat
- No restroom
- Fits a hotel porte-cochère, a residential driveway and a winery lot that a minibus cannot
For 15 or more people, or anyone with more than a carry-on, step up to the Seattle minibus in 18 to 35 seats.
