Can those with impairments or those who use mobility aids board the buses?

Mobility Assistance: Passengers who use mobility aids, yet are able to board the bus on their own, may keep their gear in the luggage compartments. Mobility aids, with the exception of walkers or folding canes, which can be stored overhead or kept with the person, should not be brought into the main passenger compartment unless the bus is specially outfitted with an accessible elevator and a location inside for secured mobility equipment. Mobility aids can not exceed 33" x 33" x 48" or be heavier than 200 pounds. We always try to meet your demands, so please get in touch with your account representative.

Max Capacity: In most cases, buses with lifts can carry up to two people with secured mobility aids. It's possible that certain smaller buses can only accommodate one occupied mobility device. For mobility aids to be securely fastened on board with passengers, their maximum permitted dimensions are 30 inches in width and 48 inches in height. Additionally, because of lift safety regulations, the total weight of the occupant and mobility equipment cannot be more than 600 pounds.

Assist: We're determined to do everything in our power to support you. When scheduling service trips, please let the driver know immediately. When making a charter service reservation, please let your account representative know. Personal care or help beyond this is not offered, though our staff is available to provide general support with boarding and obtaining mobility devices. To guarantee their comfort and safety during the journey, those who need personal help might want to think about traveling with a companion.
